Biltwell Gringo SV 06 helmet - Sierra Green

In 2014, Biltwell launched the Gringo - their first full-face helmet. This retro-styled helmet garnered immense popularity among bikers, igniting a revival in the industry and setting the tone for a whole new segment of motorcycle helmets. Building upon their success, Biltwell later introduced the Gringo S with a polycarbonate shield and ensured that both models met the ECE R22.05 standards.

Biltwell is now proud to unveil the Gringo SV. Crafted with the same unwavering commitment to excellence as its predecessors, the Gringo SV sticks to the retro looks, but adds modern creature comforts and safety standards. There are vents directly integrated into the helmet shell, giving the helmet a racy silhouette while facilitating internal airflow. Channels within the EPS safety foam effectively dissipate heat and moisture buildup, ensuring comfort during rides. Additionally, the sliding mechanisms behind the brow vents enable riders to regulate airflow in colder conditions and are easily operated with a gloved hand.

The Gringo SV's shield features Biltwell's Gen-2 hinge hardware, with robust detents, and incorporates a new locking mechanism inspired by the brass pin design found in their acclaimed Lane Splitter helmet. As expected, the helmet's three-piece comfort liner is easily removable for convenient cleaning and replacement.

The Gringo SV is their first helmet to receive Europe's new ECE R22.06 safety certification. These cutting-edge tests address a wider range of potential loads and impact angles, while also establishing higher standards for shield testing, encompassing everything from light transmission to impact permeability.

Visually, this helmet stays true to Biltwell's vintage design ethos, while offering modern levels of safety and functionality.

In-Store and Online Stock

We do our best to get your order processed, packaged and shipped as soon as possible. Items that are in stock in our Belgium store are shipped out a little faster. Because we ship all over Europe, shipping times can vary. We use Bpost, PostNL and DPD as our carriers.

Pre-orders

Items marked as "Pre-order" have no set delivery date. You will receive an email after your order with the expected delivery date.

Returns

Final sale items are not eligible for returns.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. If you receive a return label you have 30 days to post the return. Returns posted after that may be refused on delivery.

Due to increasing shipping fees all over Europe, we ask a return fee of €15.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase in case of a store-bought item.

To start a return, you can acces our self-serve return portal. You can find this in the account overview on our webshop. If you have trouble handling the return yourself, you can contact us at info@motoccino.eu. Items sent back without contacting us or using the self-serve portal will be refused and/or not refunded unless agreed otherwise.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Again, items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Helmets

We urge you to read our size guide and additional information before ordering a helmet from us. If you find that the helmet you ordered does not fit correctly, please read the following before issuing a return:

For all Biltwell, John Doe and Roeg (only Chase models) helmets we offer different size cheek pads to alter the fit. This greatly reduces the pressure on the temples and cheeks. Search for "cheek pads" on our webshop or contact us at info@motoccino.eu to order them directly and/or ask for more info.

Helmets must fit tightly to serve their protective purpose. Over time, the fit will become slightly more comfortable, like breaking in a new pair of shoes. Please keep this in mind before issuing a return.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on final sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
